Why work with AES
Architecture Cost Consulting
As the discussion with your client translates into sketches, initial renderings and specifications, inevitably some sense of a budget needs to be considered.
Â
What will that kitchen cost? Where are we heading with windows, roofing and siding? What will all that wood flooring add up to? What is that bottom line amount?
Â
This is where working with AES can be of assistance by creating a long-term partnership with your firm. So, in the future going forward with a forecast of what various costs could be with a degree of confidence.
Â
AES provides Professionally Detailed Excel Spread Sheets using the standard CSI 16 Format. This will include a cover page, cost totals per category and summary pages with further definition of costs and scope covered. It also includes a general project Ghant chart using Smart Sheet software. All Summaries provided are derived from well-established formulas and cost values for all aspects of a project. All costs to reflect the scope defined in your bid submission docs regarding Site work, Site Utilities, Foundation, Structural-Metal/Wood Frame or Masonry, Exterior Finish, Weathering in, High Performance MEP and Insulation/Sealing with Interior finish Both Traditional and Modern, Landscape/Hardscape through completion.
Â
How does AES achieve this?
Let’s Schedule a demonstration

-
In preparation send AES a recent set of bid documents only.
-
AES will then use On Screen Takeoff (OST) to digitally create values
-
That will be entered into the well-established Data base
-
And a summary 1 page budget to begin our discussions will be provided
-
This would include a Smart Sheet Ghant schedule to confirm duration
-
From this an estimate of the cost of various services per design submission can be crafted to continue this discussion
-
And with this preliminary information we can begin the discussion on how to serve your particular style and market
Â
Something to consider while developing plans for a unique custom project
Â
Propose a Cost Sharing with a client so you both go out to Bid feeling confident that your design and their budget will be honored.
